Who we are
We're a group of women here in Redwood City building friendships and community the good ol fashioned way -- in real life :)
Everyone dreams of having friends who live 5 minutes away. To have a buddy to meet for an afternoon walk or someone to grab a drink with downtown after a long day. We're making that happen.
So whether you just moved here or you've lived here for years and are looking to meet new faces in the area, we'd love to help you find your people. Come hang!
How it Works
We organize events like monthly happy hours, book clubs, reality tv viewing parties, park picnics, and more! All events are casual and open to everyone who is able to come. Don't worry -- there's no awkward, formal initiation. We're just trying to create spaces where everyone can come connect.
We have a Slack channel that we use to coordinate. It's a great way to find a buddy for whatever you're interested in. "I walk my dog at Red Morton most days at 5:30, we'd love a play pal!"
There are groups for workout buddies, book club, dog walks, run club, new and expecting moms, local recs, volunteering, career questions, and more.
We also send out email updates with events happening in town and reminders for upcoming get-togethers.
This is very much not Nextdoor. But it is nice to have a place to ask for recommendations in the area, share local tips, etc.

Our Philosophy
Having a community of friends who live nearby is priceless. But, unfortunately, it's kind of a hard thing to achieve in 2026.
We have all found ourselves thinking: "I always see that person on walks in my neighborhood at the same time as me. Do I introduce myself? Is that weird? And the gals that I see in my pilates class -- they must also live around here. How do we become friends?"
Well it turns out, we all want to hang :) Come say hey.

Do I have to live in Redwood City to join?
Not necessarily! Most of us do live here but a few of us live nearby but work in Redwood City. As long as you feel connected to the community here, you're welcome to join.
